LOR BAK (NGO HIANG)
For breakfast, we went to Kheng Pin Coffee Shop at Jln Penang and Sri Bahari junction - for some Lor Bak (6.30 AM to 3 PM)
CHEONG FATT TZE BLUE MANSION
After breakfast, headed straight to the famous Blue Mansion once owned by Choeng Fatt Tze.
Limited photographs cause photography prohibited inside the house.
At 11am, we had a guided tours inside the mansion. Conducted by Eric, a young chap with a strong British accent. The tours is highly recommended as it adds another dimension to just exploring the mansion. It was like we were taken to the time the merchant lived. Pretty detailed in historical facts. One glaring fact was CFT had no less than 8 wives. The 7th was his most favourite of all...her pictures were all over the mansion.

CARNAVON DUCK RICE
After the tour (12.45pm), it was time for lunch. Went straight to Carnavon Duck Rice at junction btw Carnarvon St and Hong Kong St . It only open for Lunch (11 AM - 3 PM) Meaning by 3pm, all duck would be sold out. Why can't we have such good life (work 4 hours a day)?
We waited for a good 35mins for our duck. At one point, nearly thought they had forgotten our order....But it was worth the wait. As usual, the rule that all good food requires long wait.

<THE FOUR HEAVENLY KINGS>
2 opium sniffers smoking away into ecstasy
(Happened during opium war time, that's the idea wasn't it?)
This one think he's on a beach relaxing...hmm...stage 1 of hallucination due to OPIUM.
Stage 2: This one just had an overdose....ala Micheal Jackson. Gone case.
This one is just plain euphoric....happy and satisfied....intended results.
Stage3 of opium sniffing(collapse&in NEVERNEVER LAND)lagi gone case
Unintended results.
This one just needs no comment. It speaks for itself.
You get the picture.
Who is this BABA standing at the doorway....??
Oh, did i mention there was a boy who offered to give us a ride in his cartwheel outside the house...get ready for an endless supply of mineral water/coke and wet tissue (already upgraded in case you dunno)
HEAD BACK TO HUTTON LODGE
On the way back to the lodge, we stopped by shop for fatboy to buy poncho to protect from rainy conditions. Upon reaching Hutton lodge, fatboy was so enthusiastic to try his new BRIGHT RED.....PONCHO.
Here we see he is trying to find the 'hole'
Fatboy trying out the poncho to ensure no 'leakage'.
Results: QC passed.
KAYU NASI KANDAR
After a long day full of sightseeing, needed to fill the tank again...with FOOD.
Headed to Kayu Nasi Kandar at Bukit Jambul / 24 hours at around 6pm.
Spicy level: 3/5 chilli
Verdict: 4 out of 5 stars
Friend chicken in sweet sauce
The Indian style Kalamari (fried squid)
Honestly, the best Kalamari i have tasted...the onion rings in there was just heaven. Couldn't stop munching on them.
Egg omelette (uniquely wrapped pancake style)
And of course, won't be complete without the authentic Curry chicken.
